Points to be observed while nominating

1.  .

 Those Malayalees living outside Kerala in other Indian states or abroad shall be considered for the awards

2.  

 Those who have been living outside Kerala for a period of minimum 5yrs only shall be considered.
3.    Those who have achieved success outside Kerala by their own efforts and have been actively involved in welfare  activities in their society may be nominated for Garshom Pravasi Ratna, Garshom Yuva Pravasi, Garshom Pravasi  Vanitha awards.
4.   Only those below 40yrs of age may be nominated for Garshom Yuva Pravasi award.
5.    Those nominated for the Garshom Pravasi Returnee award shall currently be a resident of Kerala and shall have put  to the best use his/her experience gained from outside Kerala for the upliftment of his/her fellow Keralite.
6.    The Best Pravasi Organization Award shall go to those organizations that have been in existence for atleast 5yrs and  have been doing eminent social, cultural and charitable activities among non resident malayalees.

7.  

  Only those nominations received in the prescribed nomination forms printed in the Garshom Varthe magazine in the    June, July & August 2008 issues or through www.garshom.com only shall be considered for this year’s   awards.
8. The last date to submit the nominations are 10th September 2008.
